Shenan Prestwich is a Washington, DC-born poet, cognitive researcher, over-confident dancer, and general hobby collector whose literary work has been seen in a diverse spread of publications both online and in print. She is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University Master of Arts in Writing program. Shenan serves as co-editor for the literary prompt site Prompt & Circumstance ( and its corresponding journal, and as editor-in-chief for Outside In Literary and Travel Magazine ( In addition to her literary interests, she enjoys long drives, fast bluegrass, old scotch, excessive hospitality, the great outdoors, good people, and bad karaoke.
